What is the PhysioAcademy e-learning platform?
PhysioAcademy is a multidisciplinary team that produces and distributes e-learning videos for healthcare professionals who want to advance and deepen their knowledge, but also open themselves up to new techniques.
Are our courses accessible to everyone?
All our training courses are open to individuals with an interest in the subject matter. Nevertheless, they are designed for a specific audience, including physiotherapists and osteopaths.
Are there any prerequisites?
There are no prerequisites for attending our courses. However, as they have been created by healthcare professionals and are intended for the same audience, we strongly recommend that you have the skills required by the profession(s) listed in the prerequisites for each of our courses.
Do I have to travel to take one of these courses?
No, our training courses are in video format, i.e. e-learning. There's no need to travel.
How do I take a PhysioAcademy e-learning course?
Once you purchase your course, you can access it online and learn at your own pace, where you want, when you want and on the medium of your choice: smartphone, tablet or computer.
How do I access it?
Select the course you wish to take and add it to your cart. Log in to your account or create one. Once logged in, complete your order to access your e-learning course immediately. You'll have 24/7 access to it from your personal area within the "Training" tab.
How long do the courses take?
The course presentation page specifies the duration. Typically, allocate an additional 1 to 2 hours for completing pre and post-course quizzes.
Will I always have access to my training?
Yes, once purchased, access to your training is for life! You'll always be able to find the training you've paid for in your customer's area, with no time limit. Require a refresher a few months post-viewing? No problem – simply revisit the specific section you wish to review.
Is there a time limit for viewing?
There is no time limit! Once purchased, the course is accessible from your personal space for life. You can watch it as many times as you want.
What are the benefits of taking an online physical therapy course?
E-learning has many advantages. 24/7 access to your training and additional resources such as quizzes and detailed course materials. The video format allows you to develop your knowledge at a distance and watch and review each of the instructor's manipulations over and over again.
Which devices are compatible for viewing?
A computer, tablet or smartphone with Internet access.
Will I have access to course materials?
Yes, for some courses you will have access to:
- A detailed, illustrated PDF to help you in your daily practice after the course.
- A detailed list of scientific references, publications and bibliographies.
What are the evaluation procedures?
PhysioAcademy evaluates learners based on the results of the quizzes offered at the end of the course. To do this, we use 20-question quizzes at the beginning of the course and again at the very end to check that students have correctly acquired their skills. The assessment takes place both before the training (the initial level, which we call the "knowledge test") and at the end (the level of skills acquired after the training, which we call the "learning assessment").
What are the access procedures and deadlines?
The training is distance learning. To access the course, the learner is invited to log in using the login to https://physioacademy.com using the login details provided at the time of subscription. To take a course, learners must pay for it on https://physioacademy.com by adding it to the shopping cart and following the purchase process. Once the credit card transaction is complete, the course is immediately available in the Customer Space. During the purchase process, the learner will have chosen their login, email and password, which will allow them to connect to https://physioacademy.com/ from any device with an Internet connection.
Will I receive a certificate at the end of my e-learning course?
Once you have completed your training and achieved a score of at least 50%, you will be able to download a certificate in your member area (our training courses do not lead to a qualification, but are part of your continuing education).
