E-LEARNING TRAINING
Frozen Shoulder

Frozen shoulder, also known as retractile capsulitis or scapulohumeral periarthritis, is a condition that presents many challenges in both assessment and treatment. This 5+ hour theoretical and practical e-learning course on the rehabilitative management of frozen shoulder will answer all your questions.

The theoretical part includes an update on modern musculoskeletal concepts (classifications, bio-psycho-social, neuroscience of pain), concrete knowledge of anatomy, kinesiology and general physiopathology of the shoulder, a complete presentation of physiopathology and treatment recommendations for frozen shoulder.

In the practical section, you'll learn how to clinically evaluate a frozen shoulder and adapt treatment through the presentation of therapeutic education sequences, strategies focused on the nervous system, and passive and active techniques (over 100 techniques presented).

About

Best online physiotherapy courses for learning and training on the : Frozen shoulder (adhesive capsulitis)  is a real therapeutic challenge that requires a wide range of skills in terms of reasoning, education, passive and active techniques. This course will cover all these topics, while also addressing the doubts that this complex pathology raises.

Matthieu Loubiere is a physiotherapist specialized in musculoskeletal disorders. He is also a trainer in initial and continuing education. For almost 15 years, he has been working with professionals and students on shoulder pain and back pain.

Objectives of the Course

The primary objective of this course is to improve skills in the management of frozen shoulder full e-learning.

This training will enable healthcare professionals to:

  • Improve their clinical reasoning skills
  • Increase their theoretical knowledge of the shoulder in general and frozen shoulder in particular
  • Learn a reliable and valid clinical examination procedure
  • Increase their knowledge of best practice recommendations for this pathology
  • Acquire communication skills and techniques
  • Acquire patient-centered passive and active techniques

Methodology and Pedagogy

This e-learning course consists of 3 distinct parts: Part 1 on theory, Part 2 on assessment, and Part 3 on the treatment of frozen shoulder.

Each part is richly referenced to provide the most comprehensive content possible.
In addition, the course includes numerous 2D and 3D illustrations with extensive commentary, for a better understanding of the pathophysiology of frozen shoulder.

Prerequisites

There are no prerequisites for this training. However, our courses are designed by and for healthcare professionals. Therefore, it is highly recommended that you have the skills of the following professions: physiotherapist, rehabilitation physician or osteopath.
